Searching Academic Databases for Periodicals

I’m back from a short vacation. Sorry to have abandoned you for a few days, but it was a much needed break from work and the heat of the valley. We’re getting a little bit of a late start on our Day 4-6 activities, but these are fairly easy activities:

  • Assignment #6: Odyssey III
  • Discussion II

We will visit the virtual library for Assn. #6 to locate periodicals in the library databases for our research project. I’ve created a step by step screencast to help you complete this assignment, so be sure to view that before you submit your assignment.

I should have all of your assignments graded by this evening. The only assignment you really need to wait for is paper 1 because if you plan to do a rewrite, it will need to be submitted with paper 2. I know some of you are trying to work ahead of schedule, but it’s really difficult to do in this short session. If you work ahead, just don’t submit your assignments until their actual due date. That way you can make any last minute adjustments before you submit. Remember on time assignments are eligible for rewrites. I’ll talk more about this in my next post.
